Messaging Policy (SMS Terms)

Last updated: September 27, 2026

Servicr is operated by Technologies Servicr S.E.N.C. (Servicr Technologies G.P.). Servicr is field service software. Businesses that use it (for example, irrigation, landscaping or HVAC companies) send text messages to their own clients through Servicr. These terms describe that messaging program.

Program

Program name: Servicr notifications. Messages are always identified with the name of the business sending them (for example, “Rivage Irrigation: your technician is on the way”).

Types of messages

Marketing messages are sent only to people who gave separate, express consent to receive them.

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • “On my way” and arrival notices from the technician
  • Invoices, payment links, receipts and payment reminders
  • Service updates about work at your property
  • Occasional requests to review a completed service
  • Servicr account messages to users of the app (for example, sign-in or account alerts)

How you opt in

You agree to receive text messages from a business when you give it your mobile number and consent, for example when booking a service, on a quote or work order, in the client portal, or by texting the business first. The consent is optional and never a condition of purchase. On forms, it is collected with its own checkbox that is never pre-checked, separate from any terms of service or privacy policy.

Consent wording used on booking forms: “I agree to receive text messages (SMS) from [Business name] at the number above: appointment confirmations and reminders, ‘on my way’ notices, service updates, invoices and receipts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is optional and not a condition of purchase.” The form links to this Messaging Policy and to our Privacy Policy.

After you opt in, the business sends one confirmation: “[Business name]: you’re signed up for appointment, service and invoice texts. Msg frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.” See the consent step and sample messages.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with your appointments and invoices, typically 1 to 6 messages per service visit.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. Servicr does not charge you for messages.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that business. French keywords also work: ARRET or ARRÊT. Other accepted keywords: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT. You will receive one confirmation (“[Business name]: you’re unsubscribed and won’t receive more texts. Reply START to resubscribe.”) and no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.

Help

Reply HELP (or AIDE) for help. You will receive: “[Business name]: appointment, service and invoice texts sent with Servicr. Help: contact [Business name] or info@servicr.com. Msg frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”

You can also contact the business that sent the message, or write to info@servicr.com.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major Canadian and U.S. carriers.

Privacy

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

Business responsibilities

Businesses using Servicr must obtain and keep valid consent before texting their clients, honour opt-outs immediately, identify themselves in every message, and comply with applicable laws and carrier rules, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the U.S. TCPA and CTIA guidelines. Servicr enforces opt-outs automatically across that business’s messages.
